Bobbi asked me to submit a challenge for the
Photo Fun -Variations on a Theme Group for April. I'm happy to oblige and flattered that she thinks I can do it - not to mention glad to contribute a little something to one of my favorite Gather groups. Here's my feeble attempt at a VOAT.
This photo is my own; taken on my recent vacation. The large hill is called
Hooiberg (honest) and is on the island of
Aruba near
Oranjestad. More interesting (and odd) is the fact that it's made of a material called 'Hooiberggiet' (I kid you NOT) and is only found in this hill and one other place in Africa.
So keeping with original themes, I thought it was a good shot for the group challenge.
Click on the photo above for the larger version. All I ask is that you credit the picture "RPF 2008" and have FUN with it.

I've taken over 5,000 photos so far and still have six days left here to explore the area...over 300 volcanoes within thirty miles of here and all are extinct, or at least I hope they are...
:O)
Sounds like we'll have some photos to check out too. ;-)
Gayle's the photog and you are the tube king!
