Dandelions
 gleaming in perfection,
a golden piece of sun on earth.
 Exuberantly  picked by all children
who joyfully blow the silver
parachutes to make more
dandelions
for you!

Thank you Christina, what beautiful flowers and lovely poem, and with all his scoffing, I am sure William loves it too. I think they are very beautiful and I love them because they are survivors and never give up, I appreciate this more than you will ever know, sorry I am so long getting here, I feel like I have been running uphill, helping my son move,after just moving myself, and not unpacked yet here, slow but sure, will be back to normal and I just can't wait. Love the pictures and the poem.

Cristina - lovely lovely and very inspiring on this sunny Dandelion day- I love them hanging around - can't believe some folks try to get rid of them - they are a food source - we all best learn more about Mother Earth - it will sustain us and our bellies one day - learn to respect it - thank you for this - blessings. I love the way the two images contrast.
It's wonderful how a walk in narure can inspire one to write poetry....and then you wrote a rictameter....wow. You must have had a most enjoyable stroll.

The way you began and ended the verse, was most impressive. Well done dear.
I'd rather make wine from my dandelions. Then I could toast your poetic skills.

Thank you for looking at all my sunrise Pictures this morning Christina, that was put up for my PPOW, and thank you for that comment too, and then Ernie said it was not the right word, and I took it down and turned it into a POW, and then after I had done that, he said he had made a mistake, so I am leaving it as a POW , lol, he had to let everyone do it anyway this week, as others had used the same word as me , the correct one, so now I have only put one of the pictures up , too much work, but they were such beautiful shots my son had sent to me, and I wanted to thank you so much, I appreciate it,.

OH, and I still love this Dandeloin piece, such beautiful shots. Now that i know how to put pictures up, it was the first one I had put up with the poem, one silvery like the one you have here, that made William start picking on me for dandelions, and in such good humor I have really enjoyed this past year with the ongoing writing about them. Thank you.

I love it. You've reminded me of one of my favorite pictures of my daughter. She's holding a dandelion and smiling at me. I'll have to post it.
