Those of you who have bladder leaks may want to try Kegel exercises. This was cut and pasted from Women's Health - online:
Pregnancy, childbirth, excess weight, chronic coughing and just getting older can all take a toll on your pelvic floor muscles. So can a genetic predisposition to weak connective tissue. When your pelvic floor muscles weaken, your pelvic organs descend and bulge into your vagina, a condition known as uterine or vaginal prolapse. The effects of pelvic organ prolapse range from uncomfortable pelvic pressure to leakage of urine or feces. Fortunately, Kegel exercises can strengthen pelvic muscles and delay or maybe even prevent pelvic organ prolapse.
Kegel exercises are also recommended during pregnancy. Well-toned pelvic floor muscles may make you more comfortable as your due date approaches. You may be less likely to develop urine leakage and hemorrhoids - both common near the end of pregnancy and prone to persist long after you've given birth.
Finally, Kegel exercises - along with counseling and sex therapy - may be helpful to women who have persistent problems reaching orgasm.
Kegel (pronounced KEE Gel)exercises can be done right now - just sitting at your computer. Since you have to be bombarded by these Poise ads every few seconds, then that will be a reminder to squeeze your PC muscles. Just squeeze your PC muscles as hard as you can, and hold them. This is doing a kegel exercise. Start by squeezing and holding for a count of 3-5 seconds, then release and relax for 5 seconds. When you release, notice how your muscles feel. The first time you do a kegel exercise see how many times you can do it before you feel your muscles tire. For more information go to www.About.com - Sexuality.
The PC muscle, which stands for pubococcygeus muscles, is actually a sling of muscles that support the pelvic floor and surround the internal genitalia. These muscles are involved in urination (when you stop yourself from peeing in mid-stream, you're using your PC muscles). Both men and women have PC muscles.
You see, I've become famous for turning adversity into opportunity. So, I have to thank the Poise folks for giving me this opportunity. Now, I won't be so aggravated at those ads showing up and blinking in my face all the time. Thank you for reading this. Salud.

I've actually never heard of Poise products, and don't own a TV, but if ever the word "bladder leaks" enters my vocab, my sister promised she'd push me off a cliff, and make it look like an accident.
Funny how we don't hear the stats on ED. I'm all for equal opportunity.....BUT I did travel around with a semi famous race care driver cheering my head off. And before the external caths were used for drivers to relieve themselves in - they simply peed on themselves which was why the winner was always doused with a cooler of water or sprayed w/ bubbly when they got out of their cars: It was to cover up the wet suits.
More useless trivia to get stuck in my head when I finally come down with dementia....haha!
(BTW Mariana, - Glad I have found you, - was a long haul from South Carolina to California)!!! LOL :o)
On boomertowne, there are lot of ads for a med for similar problems. I think it's called "enablex". Anyway, it shows a lot of water balloons about to overflow. My grandson thinks it's the neatest ad with all those balloons! I haven't tried to explain what they represent!
Hahahah Carla - that's so funny!!!
Laurun - Kegel is easy to do - I learned how to do it years ago.
Kimberly - start them early then!!
Wilma That is soooo funny!
Phyllis - yes girl, long trip - I'll be up to see you soon. SAlud.
