Tuesday Writing Essentials - In the Spotlight

So - the .... um..... ~upgrade?~  has given us the ability to spotlight new articles .... but not our older work.

If you want to spotlight older work - for now - you have to republish it  - and while you're at it, why not submit it to Tuesday Writing Essentials while you're at it? And tell us about it in a comment here, as well?

I would love to help you spotlight your best work :)

Don't know how much time I shall actually have to Gather today - 10 page essay due tomorrow  - but I will try.

Genine, I just open two windows ...1 with the old article, and another with a Publish Article screen .... copy the content from the one into the other. Seems to work best if you do NOT go into the edit screen of the old - just copy right from the published article (loses less formatting)

and of course I will Lynn... if/when I get it done ... its going to be pretty heavy on theory though ....Zizek is not an easy writer to follow!

Flit, it is an interesting paper, and apparantly something I have run into before in the way at least that you approached it. I am ready to sink my teeth into it. Last night my mind was ablaze with thought. That doesn't happen too often, so bring on the theory. Suits me just fine. And since I've never heard of Zizek I'll be glad to know what Zizek thinks.

Ruth, Spotlighting is the area on our profiles now where some of our articles or other content can be "showcased" for people to see when they visit. I sent you an email about how to do it if you'd like.

Yay for spotlights. Seems like the feeds are working a bit better now too - don't keep reverting to showing everything as soon as you take your eyes off them... Things is looking up...
