A DUET IN A GARDEN PLACE The stem, the leaf, the head of rose Does it crave what gentle lover's kisses bring? Can it feel the handle of my fingertips? May I roam throughout as I do my lover's parts? Can I be the sun when high noon warmth begins, Have use of limbs like rays of magic yellow sun? She would caress, breathe me in, as a flower would Oh, here she is! She who comes to gather me, her tenderness in tow A blown breath of lavender has me swimming in her whims Breath and kiss come rising to bring foreplay to the face In slips the aroma, the pure purplish of her petal Watery caresses will turn my face up to blossom I bow to her faithful way to sway and fawn my face

I swear....you do it every time.
I can feel the breath~rising.
It is simply delicious!!!!!
*wink*
You were right, this one really gets to me! There are multiple themes here that I love-- the wondering about the consciousness of plants, the use of flowers as a metaphor for young women, and the sensuality of breathing in a flower's frangrance as a symbol of love-making.
I have the acute feeling of being in a garden on a warm summer's day.
Jackie... a purple rose!!!... now you've turned my blood purple and pulsing. Thanks for the lovely thoughts.
as always, simply beautiful!!
April... as always your words often move my heart.
Penni... you delight me too with your generous comment.
but Yes!
Love on so many levels
of sensuality
Is painted here
in honeyed hues
I can see the dance, the gentle way she embraces the bloom held gently to her cheek and the faraway places she lets her mind wander to in the midst of an otherwise chaotic day..... Thanks for the vision. Have a wonderful afternoon!

The symbolism was keen and the words soft with all of the beauty of the human form.
caressed my mind
as I read your
words this morn.
