The Mural

I wanted to post the more detailed shots of the mural in Lake City, FL. I also wanted to post this to Photo Theme Challenge ~ Intricate. I posted a full shot last week and the image just does not do the mural justice. Without further ado....here are the closer shots, from left to right, of the mural.

I noticed as I was looking at the shots that there were various "Florida" items included in the mural. The tubing looks like floating down Itchatucknee. FREEZING water year round.



I see various fish that thrive here.



A crane....there is a snail on the tree but you can hardly see it and some dude drove up between me and the mural when I was taking pictures (and STAYED!) That is the antenna of his truck on the lower right...it is pointing right at the snail. There is even a crawfish in the water there near the crane. It kinda looks like the crane is looking at it as a meal :)



I am sure a more die hard Floridian could point out the names of all the creatures and such. I see a damsel (or is it a dragonfly?) Pine trees are prevalent in our area. I am sure the people in the mural are significant.



When I discover the artist and the more important details, I will update this.....ENJOY~
