Top VP Choices for John McCain

Last week, we went through possible running mates for Clinton and Obama, so it is only fair that I chime in on McCain.

1. Condi Rice-nice choice, polls love her and say he would sweep into the White House on the ticket. She is graceful, quiet, loyal to a fault.

2. Mitt Romney- Young, good looking, well rounded, and he would bring in the Conservative vote.

3. Rush Limbaugh-Windbag, would take a lot of hits and probably be the cause of a world war.

4. Pat Robertson-Too old and just plain annoying

5. Allen Keys- Black, but ultra conservative

6. Kathryn Harris, took a lot of hits for Bush in 2000, won office because of it, but was later pounced on. She deserves to be paid back for giving Bush the Election.

7. Hucklebee-Again conservative vote, well rounded

While Condi Rice may be a dream ticket (according to current pollsters), it would invite an investigation of her recommendations (or perceived recommendations) to Bush. Remember early in the first term when Mr. Bush proclaimed Vladmir Putin and honest man he could do business with? Ms. Rice's speciality is Russia -- and Putin's Russia has become very worrysome.

I suspect either Mitt Romney or Mike Huckabee would jump at the opportunity.

How about giving Dan Quayle anotherchance?

Not really sure what his race has to do with it.... you should of put the races of the other guys on list just in case that it is indeed a factor in choices.

Let's face it, blacks are supporting Obama more for his race than his stance (which no one really knows), so it was an alternative choice. Before you pounce, I am black, but not for Obama.

Keyes is a nutjob. I would be very surprised if he is on anyone's list. The cable stations are playing up the Rice ticket. This is an interesting group of people. I don't see Mitt Romney getting the ticket. I believe he would drag the election down - not up. So far, McCain is avoiding scrutiny. In time, I think people will realize that McCain is not the right man for the job.

.all they need is to show the oil tanker with her name on it...showing her true loyalty ...and then shopping for shoes while all of New Orleans is drowning...again her loyalty...she is very much disliked outside and in this country. Not a good choice.
