I couldn't wait for my next card I am very close but... I got too impatient. So I took my $25 Home Depot card I earned on gather and went shopping at Home Depot! My 14 yr old daughter came with me. We bought two 72 cell seedling greenhouse starter packs. Then we got seeds. I got cucumber, tomato's, brocolli, carrots, pumkins, green beans, corn, and some onion seeds.
With the seedling greenhouse starter packs all you do is add water, the dirt pellets expand. Then you add the seeds and put the greenhouse top on it ... and with regular watering in about a week the seeds start to grow! :)
This is going to be a great start for the garden I am going to plant next month. I am so excited since I got my new house I can finally have a garden again.(.. built by habitat for humanity) Having my own garden is awesome. It is not only a great way to save money on groceries and to have healthier foods but also it is a fatastic way for my kids and me to bond. We plant and care for the garden as a family.
Thank you gather, and my friends on gather ... and home depot for the wonderful gift card!!!! Were definetly putting them to good use!
