Tulips in North Georgia (Photo Essay)

While geocaching on Saturday, I noticed that that springtime blooming is just a little behind my area of the state. So there were a lot of tulips blooming everywhere I went.

I took some time to photograph many of the beautiful colored ones that I saw. This article is a collection of some of the tulips seen while geocaching in North Georgia on 4/12/2008.

These are also the photos I won't be posting to my Gather Gallery.

Flowers are one of my favorite subjects to photograph - as if you couldn't already tell. Hope you enjoyed this tiptoe through the tulips with me.

These are GORGEOUS, Marianne! I never think of tulips when I think of my favorite flowers but then I see pictures like this and I can't imagine anything more beautiful. Thanks for this lovely addition to my morning!

Nothing better than looking at some pretty tulips first thing in the morning.:)
I like all the angles and compositions. I liked the mixed beds with the stone border best.

It is a treat for me since it is too hot for tulips around here.
