My great savings at Kroger this week...

Okay, I was on a super limited budget this week AND had to buy food to keep my husband entertained for a couple of days while I'm gone on business. 

Normally, I'd be scared :)  BUT, I've been collecting my coupons, printing coupons from the internet and scouring my sales ad, so I felt pretty confident. 

My husband was SOOOOO impressed when I saved us $30.43 off of our total bill, bringing the total down to just $59.96.  That didn't include any bottle returns, and it included a package of Pampers diapers and a 6 pack of Michelob Ultra Amber.  Pretty darn good if I may say so myself. 

My biggest savings:

Lean Pockets
Normally $2.31
On Sale 5/$10
Plus, buy 10 get $5 off the total order, so they were really 5/$5
THEN, I had a coupon for $1.50 off of 5 AND another coupon for $1.00 off of 5.
Kroger doubled my $1.00 off coupon....
so I got 5 for $1.50 or $.50 EACH!!!!

Michelina Lean Gourmet's
Normally $1.29
On Sale 10/$10
Plus, I had two $1 off of 5 coupons, which Kroger doubled...
So I got 10 for $6 or $.60 each

Campbell's Condensed Soup
Normally $1.69
On Sale 10/$10
Plus, I had a coupon for $.25 off 4, which Kroger doubled
So, I got 4/$3.50 or $.88 each

I didn't buy Soup at Hand this week as it wasn't on sale nor did I have a coupon, so these Lean Gourmets will be my lunch this week.  They'll be just right accompanied by a little salad.

I couldn't resist buying one more French's Mustard.  We go through alot, and they are normally $1.79 each.  They are on sale 10/$10.
AND I had a coupon for $.30 off one, which Kroger doubled.
So, I got one for $.40. 

My husband thinks I ROCK!
