Checking in, Update on Wife

Hi All:

First, do apologize for being out of the loop, and missing the 100 word and First Sentence competitions these past couple of weeks, but things here have been HECTIC, the proverbial roller coaster ride that is dealing with a diagnosis of cancer in the family.

 Wanted to take time to give everyone an update on where we stand:

1.  Biopsy on left breast was negative...THANK GOD.

2.  Wife's surgery was this past Friday.  I spoke with the surgeon afterward and she feels VERY GOOD about everything, believes she got all the cancer.

3.  We will meet with her sometime this week in New York after she has gotten results from this third biopsy...at that point in time we will lay out the plan forward regarding radiation therapy.

So, that is where we stand, and right now the both of us are trying now to put some semblance of normalcy back into our lives.
