slightly different form.Crime fiction is reviewed and discussed on this new Squidoo lens, Crime Fiction, with polls and reader input. Music is recommended to accompany your reading of different authors (the music their characters listen to, for example). Links to related blogs are provided. Author interviews have started to appear. There is also a new Squidoo group, What's a Little Murder Among Friends?, for people to add their own crime fiction lenses and comments and links to their articles and blogs. Join in! This is a new way (for me) of bring readers to my articles here at gather and on my external blogs. You might find that Squidoo will bring you lots of traffic. Unlike some bookmarking services, you can link directly to your gather articles.
You might want to check out Squidoo (free membership, lots of resources, search by tags and categories) as a way of drawing outside attention to your blog posts! I have been directing traffic to Gather articles. You can make a "lens" to focus on your favorite sitem which could be your for artices, images or total content here. Complete articles are not reproduced, just the first 100 words. If fact, with Squidoo and more, my media empire is expanding, with more to come (on literature and music). It think I have to make money to be a media mogul, though.

Note that the picture of Qiu Xiaolong's book display at a local book signing for Red Mandarin Dress was taken by me as part of an author interview. There is a high resolution version of the photo available that I didn't post here at first by accident or oversight or rushing, or whatever. I was very rushed taking the photo and had to crop, edit and process the heck out of it with Picassa and via Flickr to get what I ended up with (from a huge, boring full frame). The high(er) res picture is given here:
