If you can read this, my problem is solved...

Several times, earlier today, I tried to publish an article here on Gather and, each time that I hit "Publish", I would be sent to a completely blank page with the same URL as the "Create/Edit Article" page.

I first noticed that something was "wrong" when I could not seem to add an image to the article... When I clicked on the "Add images" buttom, nothing happened at all... No blank page... No "Page not found"... Nothing...

So, being a "resourceful person", I switched the view of the page to "html" and then added a link to an image that I already had on PhotoBucket.com...

It worked like a charm... The image showed up on the article after I switched back OUT of "html" mode and everything! Things were looking up UNTIL I went to publish the article and got the blank page.

I'm going to try to "Add Image(s) to [My] Article" right now and see if it works...

Hold on a second...

I merely switched my browser to an old version of Internet Explorer that I had on my computer left over from when we used to live in a place where I could get cable high-speed internet...

Where I live now, there is NO "high-speed", there is NO "DSL" and there is NO "cable", so, of necessity, I contracted with the only "dial-up" provider that made sense: "SBC Global" (now "A T & T") because that was the only phone company at the time (and still) that provides service in my area.

See? I TOLD you that I was "resourceful"... ;o)
