She thinks it is either anemia or a liver problem.
I have an appetiite stimulant pill and an antibiotic pill to give him.
I also have a special food I have to mix with water and force feed him with.
That means I have to stick a big syringe in his mouth and squirt a little at a time in giving him a chance to lick his lips and swallow in between bites.
I had to wrap him like a taco in towels to do this and sweet baby that he is he purred.
The vet and the techs couldn't believe how sweet Tigger was the whole time he was there. He was so dehyrated they had trouble finding a vein for blood and he never got upset.
He was purring so louding during the exam while we were there that the vet couldn't hear his heart and tried wapping him on the nose to make him mad so he'd quit purring. It didn't work, he just purred away.
So there is my update. I have one more feeding and one more pill tonight to give him.
He is a purr box but obviously not his happy go lucky self.
Thanks for caring about my Tigger.
This is how he looks tonight.
When I get knews of blood work results I'll let you now tomorrow.
