Happy Mother's Day 2008 - Welcome to the group!

I love my mom, she's my best friend. We share everything, talk about everything and understand each other in a way that no one can. I can't imagine my life without the love I've received from my mom. She really is my favorite person in the whole wide world and I never leave her without telling her 'I love you". Thanks, Mom!


This group is the perfect place to celebrate the love you have for your Mom!!! This is a place to show all the moms or mother figures in our lives just how much we care about them.


  • Share gift ideas
  • Post 'mother with child' photos
  • Blog about our Moms and invite them to read the tributes
  • Write childhood stories about your mom or mother figures
  • Post recipes handed down from mom
  • Talk about what it's like being a mother

Mother's Day falls on May 11th this year and since motherhood is a 365 day a year job, let's let mom know as much as possible how much we appreciate her efforts. Mother's Day should be every day.

Me and my mom definitely have our (ahem) "differences." LOL But I love her and we just have the kind of relationship where you can be irritated one minute and laughing together the next.

My mom is living with me and my husband and children now for 2 yrs. She's 50 years old (51 in July) and is going to school. She is on unemployment and limited income so she can't afford to live anywhere else! So sometimes it's stressful... no room to hide! But everyday I thank God he gave me the mom I have. She may be my mom, but she's my best friend too.

What a nice tribute to moms! Mine passed away in 1994 but I live by many things she taught me and I miss her so much every day.
