Is Anyone Here Squidoo-ing?

Have you  heard of Squidoo?  

Are you game for creating some fun web pages, with no programming experience required?  And it's FREE of course...

Squidoo is a very nice way of telling people about yourself, your interests, personal or business, or hobbies.  When you register with Squidoo you create pages called "lenses" which are focused on a given topic.  It's very easy to do, and you can not only brighten up your pages by adding images, your own or from Flickr etc, you can add product links from Amazon, eBay, Cafepress and a host of other sites to your pages. 

Not only do you get paid if people buy products from your pages, but Squidoo place Google Adsense adverts on your pages, and you get to share in the profit from there also.   I just made $18 for last month, and didn't sell anything directly from my pages, so that's just my share from the collective profit.

 It doesn't sound like much, but consider that this is really my first month on Squidoo and I only have 9 lenses that are doing anything.  Some people have created 100 or more, and it's very easy to do.

So what can you create lenses about?

Well, do you have a hobby that you would like to tell people about?
Do you know a lot about something and can offer people advice?
How about making a tribute lens about somebody, either someone famous or a family member?
How about featuring some good recipes?

Consider how much time you spend writing articles on here.   Now, if you could turn half of those articles into lenses, they would continuously get visitors and earn you money (real money not just points), whereas once ther have been posted on here for a few days ther just get buried and lost.

However.... You can get the best of both worlds.  Place links to Squidoo in your Gather profile and articles to attract attention to your Squidoo pages, and also place links to your Gather profile and articles in your Squidoo lenses.   You have already written a number of articles no doubt, so much of the content for your lenses is already there - you could create your first in 5 minutes.

It's really easy, it's fun to do, and you can earn money while you are doing it.
