Well, its been almost a year that my little boy has been diagnosed with Type 1 diabetes..He will be 6 in May.. Its a very complicated disease,(with NO cure) and is quite challenging... My little boy is so so brave, I am just amazed..
I am still fairly new to this site, and would love to connect with other people who are touched by Type 1 diabetes.. Its always nice to have additional support, suggestions, and to just have someone you can connect with that understands what your going through~

The good news is if he ever needs a kidney transplant, they are now transplanting the pancreas with the kidney if it's needed and that will end the diabetes.
