However, it allows you to collect information from your favorite blogs and provides more visibility for your articles, blogs, websites, etc. It is very easy to get started. You can also include your favorite books from Amazon, etc. I went from zero to one "lens" and one group in about two hours. A lens focuses attention on the subjects you choose!

My best lens (solarpower lens)is about 4500, and my others are doing worse: crime fiction, Guitar playing from kids to adults and Nearlynothingbutnovels lens. My other group, What's a little murder amongst friends?, is also still struggling.
I currently put most of my effort into Chemistry for a sustainable world, and used to put all my effort into Nearly nothing but novels, my first blog, which I started last September to review fiction and broaden my writing from the technical fare that constitutes my regular work as a scientist.
It has been a 10-month long strange trip through the bloggosphere. Gather appeared on my horizon about half way through, and has provided lot of good interaction. I've also published a little at the arts and music site, uber.com.
I'm now in the "need more sleep" stage of blogging.
