Not just for gazing... Purple Dead Nettle

I posted a picture of this weed/flower/plant and asked for help identifying it.

 Thanks Laurun for all of your help, I just wanted to share this with everyone as it is new information that others might find enjoyable! :)

I see these everywhere in Kentucky... and lots of people just mow over them... you may want to read some information about these flowers/plants, before you mow your lawn...

Thats a great idea! :) I really would like to do so... maybe we should find weeds and take pictures of them and find out what they are?! :) Maybe create a weed group? lol

Strange name, beautiful flower. I've seen these before (not this year though.. I still doubt we will have a spring at all lol) but never knew what they were called.
