We recently took our dog, Koda, to the vets because we noticed a sort of growth on his rib cage. The doctor was worried about it, so he did take Koda and removed it, but it wasn't really a big deal. Koda did have a sort of mole-like growth on his leg, though, and none of us, not even the vet, thought it was anything more than a mole. The vet, however, decided to remove it because there was a chance it would bleed (a lot!) if it got caught. Turns out there was a large part of it that grew down inward and the doctor sent it to get a biopsy.
We're hoping and praying that it definitely isn't cancer. Koda's been with our family for a good 5 or 6 years and I just don't know what I'd do without him.
I'll keep ya'll posted. As soon as I find something else out I'll be sure to let you know. I believe in the power of positive thinking, so please help me think for the best for Koda. ^_^
