Spring has sprung in our hometown (finally). While Maddie and I were outside for some fresh air, the neighbor girl and her mother came outside. The little girl brought over some sidewalk chalk to share with Maddie. I was afraid Maddie would stick the chalk right into her mouth, and I was
very impressed that she didn't.
Here is some of Maddie's original artwork:
I did the ABC's:
Here is Maddie after I brought her into the house. It was time for supper:
Her mood did improve shortly. Daddy had her laughing at dinnertime!
Well, I hope you enjoyed my short-and-sweet little photo essay. Looks like I'll be picking up some sidewalk chalk from the store VERY soon!

I have pics posted of him playing with the chalk. You'll have to come see.
She sure is cute. Glad she is happy now.
She is a natural.....
I'm really glad Dad could cheer her up....
I have thought about getting my Maddie some sidewalk chalk but still havn't. I almost got her some for Easter...
She loves coloring with her crayons so I am sure she would LOVE to color on the sidewalks, plus then we could be outdoors too!
i'd cry too if i had to come in and eat...hehe
we did not have that nice fat chalk when we were little...

I'm glad she's making a little friend.
I didn't have sidewalk chalk when I was a kid. I actually used pieces of ice plant to draw on cement. The problem with that is that it isn't removed easily.
