After having a great morning with my oldest today, I was feeling pretty good. Then, I had a milestone with my baby--he started climbing!
We have a small end table between our couch and recliner. We keep a long footstool in front of the end table so Sam can't get to it (we don't want him to pull it down on himself). He was playing on the floor at my feet while I was sitting on the couch reading. I hear him squeal and look up to find myself looking eye to eye with him. I was like, "Hi, Sam, baby, how are you? HOLY CRAP--WHAT ARE YOU DOING?" He'd pulled himself up onto the footstool and then pulled himself into a standing position by grabbing ahold of the table. He was standing up looking quite proud of himself. I almost fell off the couch. I was torn between running for the camera and grabbing him before he toppled over. I grabbed him. :)
I can't wait til my husband comes home!

let the fun of bumps and bruses begin.
My daughter is a climber and I can't keep her off of anything.
