I have a friend who owns a restaurant and he said the worse thing that can happen to him is when a customer fails to complain. Why? They simply don't come back. He not only doesn't know why, but has not even been given the opportunity to satisfy his customer.
What kind of crap is that. If you are buying other stuff you should be able to get a cup for water.
I have not had that problem yet. I would get online and make a complaint about it and see what they have to say for a reason as to why they would not give you a cup for water. I know that some places don't like to give cups when it is a help yourself because lots of people say they want water then steal pop. I used to work as a Restaurant manager at a Hardees and encountered that problem a lot so we would just fill the waters up behind the counter. But still I think that is just ridiculous.
The soda fountain that are in the middle of the restaurant do not have the water sipgot any longer because so many people would say water then really get a soda.
You will be seeing more of this everywhere, even in good restaurants, in the very near future.
Atlanta is about to run out of water, period!
