What is your middle name?

My legal middle name is the last name of my kids.  When I got married again I dropped my middle name, Shawn, and kept my ex husband's last name.  It made sense at the time but now it seems a little dumb.  I love my name and I miss being Juley Shawn.  What is your middle name?

Alicia, though the story goes that my mom wanted my middle name to be Heather. However, there was another little girl born just before me (at the same hospital) named Dawn Heather, and so my dad vetoed it before I was born.

Legally changing it shouldn't be too much of a hardship. It will take one to two courtroom visits and maybe thirty dollars.

I wouldn't take my ex's middle name, even though mine will no longer match my son's. I can understand your regret.

In a way I dont blame you for doing what you did. If I ever got a divorce I would hi-fin my lastname, and go back to my maiden name. Even if I remarried I would keep that part of my lastname, just because my kids.

I wanted to hi-fin my lastname when we got married, but my hubby had a fit so I didnt do it. Still wished I did in a way, but oh well its going on 12 years and im long over it.

Kathleen is my middle name. When I was in 5th grade, there were 5 Lisa's in my small Catholic school class. I was so distraught over this that I changed my name to Kathy or Kathleen for a year LOLOLOL

my middle name was Margaret, however when I got married the first time I changed it to my maiden name Savoie, then when I got married the second time I got rid of the middle name all together. Now my initials are DO, when I get my divorce this time I am going back to my maiden name with the initials of DS.
True story, a long time I was dating a guy that I worked with. We both passed out meds on the same ward and we had to initial every pill given out. His initials were DMS and mine were DMS. When we were audited, the auditor did not like the fact that we were both using those initials. So, I started using DS, and he used DMS.
