Often called rock's muse, Pattie Boyd, former wife of rock guitarist Eric Clapton, and George Harrison of the Beatles, is said to have been the inspiration for the songs "Layla", "Wonderful Tonight" and "Something". In 2007 Pattie Boyd published her autobiography, "Wonderful Today" (published as "Wonderful Tonight" in the US) in which she tells the story that everyone has been waiting to hear.
Pattie Boyd is also a photographer and she is also now displaying some of her most intimate photographs of her life with Harrison and Clapton.
Boyd's photographs are currently on exhibit at the Morrison Hotel Gallery in both La Jolla and Los Angeles, California. Photos from the opening reception at the Morrison Hotel Gallery on Sunset Blvd. can be seen at Laist.com.
