I'm so sorry I've been absent from Gather, but have been just swamped with three releases in less than a month (nice problem to have, but exhausting), three months of the flu with a sick husband (we're much better now), a new job....yada, yada, yada. No excuse, I know.
But now that I'm winding up my last book release for a while, I'll be able to get back to writing again and also back to Gather. I'll try not to be a sock puppet anymore...or a fly by. Just to get you up to date:
Starsight was released March 15th with 2 book signings out of town (BTW - anyone who pre-ordered, the signed books are on their way...it took forever to get the distributor to get them to me (late last week!)), A Cup of Comfort for Single Moms also released March 15th (I have a feature called "Sunday Breakfast" in it and Adams set up a bunch of signings and a TV interview (local cable...very small time), The Centurion & The Queen (name change) e-book released April 1st (www.resplendencepublishing.com ) and the print is being released April 10th. Then I sold the sequel The Breton & The General which I'm madly trying to get done (hopefully this weekend) which will be out later this year. It's been a wild ride...but grand! I'm exhausted...
More importantly, I just recently started working full time for my local elementary school teaching remedial reading, writing, and math (probably mentioned this before) which I am thoroughly loving! These kids are so incredible!
Oh, I've also got a new Yahoo Group called Rome-antic Worlds for anyone interested in writing or reading about history. We have lots of fun!
