I probably shouldn't call her little anymore though--she's 23. But she's the baby of the family, and one of my dearest friends. We lived in the same area while she was in college (she went to the school I worked at), and she moved away only a few months before we moved to Seattle.
She's been in a management training program with a company since she graduated, and now that she's reached the end of her training, she pretty much has her choice of where she wants to go to work for this same company. She has an interview next week at the Seattle branch, and she gets to stay in town for the weekend after her interview. (I think she told them that her sister lives here, and that's why they scheduled the interview as they did. I think that's awesome!)
She actually gets here when I'm out of town, but she's going to meet up with us after I get back in town on Friday afternoon. We're off to a concert that night, and then doing tourist-y type stuff the next day. And then Sunday I'll drive her to the airport to fly back home.
My little sister is the person in my family that I'm the closest to, for many many reasons. She's also the only one who has made plans to come see me since we moved. And now there's a chance that she'll decide that she wants to live out here as well! I'd love it if she does, because my fiance gets along with her well also, and it will be nice to have someone else we know out here. And hey, then maybe our parents will come and visit me... :)
