He hasn't been eating much and is lethargic. From what I researched online cats don't like changes. Nothing else I read sounds
like what might be going on with him.
I bought new food bowls the end of last week and he doesn't like them. Right at
first he put his nose in the air and walked away from it.
Yesterday we had company (kids) all day who bugged him a lot.
He has lost 2 lbs. I did get out some canned food today and he ate it.
But he usually is at the food bowls over and over all day long. He also
comes for pets and seeks out my attention and he hasn't been.
Now he is just hanging out under the coffee table or under the piano bench
and not doing much else.
I'm going to keep offering the canned food (and he has kept that down) until
he starts acting more lie himself.
I hate to take him to vet if he is just not liking his food bowl.
Unfortunately I threw the old one away(it was chipped).
Any other ideas?

I want my boy to feel better!!

My RB kitty Chuckie had lost weigh real fast and by the time we got him to the vet (which was no more than a week after) it was too late. He died at the vet from liver failure. He was only 5 years old.
He seems more sociable tonight but I don't know if he has eaten, all of us had things scheduled to day and were gone all day.
We shall see how this works.
Sending lots of prayers that he's up and around fast.
