More pics from our Key West trip

I wanted to share some more pics from our trip to Key West since my first article had only pics from the Butterfly Conservatory.

The following several pics are from our visit to Zachary Taylor State Park.  They had all sorts of art in the park:

This next one I have to give credit to hubby for, altho if he would have let me have the Canon to get a shot I would have probably done better, lol.  j/k by the way.. (but not really, lol)

but seriously, hubby thinks our Canon is his "toy" and doesn't like to share it, so I have to fight him to get him to give it up for even 5 mins at a time, which he did, a few times, but a lot of my pics came from my little Nikon Coolpix.

The next few are from the Boardwalk:

these Conch shells were in a barrel at a souveneir shop:

This thing was made completely out of sponges!!  Except for his eyes and mouth have shells glued on:

Then here are some more just random ones from around Key West:

There were Roosters everywhere.  I guess a long time ago they used to have Cock fights, and then one day the roosters were let loose and were never caught because they were fighting roosters.  So now they are all over the island!

I love this one, lol.  Too bad my shoulders are sticking out above it, but I was trying to hold Maddie so she would be in the pic too:

There are many cats at the Hemmingway house probably atleast 30-40.  A long time ago it is said that the owner of a bar called Sloppy Joes gave Earnest Hemmingway a cat with 6 toes, when he was living in this home in Key West.
So several of the cats that live there now and are decendants of this 6 toed cat also have 6 toes.
