The Ospreys Are Back! - April 4, 2008

Last Friday I saw the first osprey of Spring on one of the cell towers near the mouth of the Clackamas  River in Oregon City, Oregon.

There were 3 osprey nest on cell towers in the area last year.

Today I saw a pair of Ospreys on one tower and a single osprey on each of the other two towers.

They are hard to capture, but they are beautiful. And yes, it must be spring.

We get lots of Ospreys here. I got a really good photo session with one last Summer, three photos of which I posted here on Gather, here, here, and here. They should be back here soon as well. I'm keeping my eyes peeled!
