I think I found a new hobby.

I have decided that I really want to find all the Ghost Towns here in Oklahoma. It was a fun trip to see Marshall and Lovell this weekend. Although Marshall is not yet considered a ghost town. i am sure it will be added to the list though. Marshall holds a deep place in my heart as my mothers home town. She constatnly talked about growing up in Marshall.

So James and I have decided that we would really love to go and find more.

I will most likely be writing more about these towns and their history and sharing pics. I don't know how often I will be able to go out and do this though. Hopefully we get plenty of chances.

I am so ecited about my new hobby.

I always found ghost towns appealing. I remember as a kid checking out a few books on them. We have ghost towns in the Midwest, of course, but they tend to just kind of peter out, leaving nothing behind except maybe a solitary church surrounded by fields. We've got a couple like that here in our county and one, at least, north of us where there's what's left of a town called Frogtown.

Sounds like fun. We have a lot of old ghost towns in Montata. But I have never seen a ghost O Darn!

I think that would be so cool. I really encourage you to do this. I think you will be very happy doing this and take lots pictures.

Maybe you can be a paper writer or right a book on it. It could happen.
