I got Kraft's latest Food & Family magazine in the mail last week and saw several things that I would like to make. The first thing I made from the magazine was the Cool 'n Easy Strawberry pie. True to it's name, it was cool AND easy to make.
To start, you will need:
a box of strawberry jello (4 serving size, I used sugar free),
1 8 oz container of Lite Cool Whip (I used a lite offbrand and it was fine),
1 cup fresh chopped strawberries
1 ready to use graham cracker crumb crust,
1 cup sliced strawberries.
Pour your jello into 2/3 boiling water in a large bowl until it's all dissolved. Measure 1/2 cold water and put ice cubs into the cup until it's 1 cup. Now add to jello and star until slightly thickened. Remove any ice that isn't melted.

Add the whipped topping.

Stir until well blended.

Add chopped strawberries

After stirring, put into refrigerator until it firms (around 30 minutes)
After it firms,

Place into graham cracker crust:

Refrigerate 6 hours or overnight until firm.

Add sliced strawberries:

Serve:

Refrigerate any leftovers:

This was a very easy dessert to make. The entire family enjoyed it (kids and adults).
