Serial arrestee Naomi Campbell was arrested again on assault charges at London's Heathrow airport. She is alleged to have spit on a police officer.
Her prior assaults include-
-clubbing her assistant with a phone
-beating down another assistant with a Blackberry
-assaulting her housekeeper with a cell phone. This incident required the victim to get several stictches.
Are we so quick to blame the super model? Is it not apparent that wireless technology was involved in all three of these incidents? The effects of cellular tech on the human brain have long been suspected of causing health issues. It may be that Naomi is not to blame. Can you hear me now?
Ms Campbell has gone through court ordered anger management before but apparently remains angry. Are we as a global society failing to recognize the burden that beauty imposes upon our top models? Are we expecting too much from them after all they've given us?
As a stunning specimen of masculine hotness myself, I can empathize with the frustration she feels with plain looking service people who try her patience by losing her baggage or bringing her unchilled Evian.
Next time you purchase Dolce & Gabbana or Prada, thank a model. And for god's sake, don't tick them off.
