Sweet Dreams on a Pillow Top. A pillow top mattress that is. My husband and I bought a new bed this week. It is a dream come true. I have been wanting a queen size bed for many years now, but either I have not had the money or the bedrooms in the apartments and houses we lived in were too small. Our current bedroom is small by many standards ,but our bed fits in it quite nicely. I was pleased when I discovered that since it only 6 inches wider than a double bed,I just needed 3 extra inches on each side of the room and my night tables still fit.
The reason I wanted the queen size is that the double is just too small for the two of us .Add to that our small dog who insists our sleeping with us it was way too crowded. I was tired of the elbows and poking etc. that happen while we sleep. For the past four years, since I was a night owl I resorted to sleeping in another bed. But, that just encouraged me to stay up many hours beyond my bed time. Besides I was missing out on bedtime chats and cuddling with my hubby, leaving us feeling more like roommates than a married couple.
This winter kept I thinking about it and figured that it would be likely another year or two before we could get one. Well, this week we discovered that our local Home Hardware had a sale on ,with terms that we could live with. I was so happy! We now have a wonderful bed, it may not be the Cadillac of beds, but it the nicest one we have ever own and should last us for many years.
It is a SPRINGWALL CHIROPRACTIC BANFF I love the pillow top, at the same time the bed is nice and firm. The one shown on this is in a complete bed frame etc . we do not have that .
As you can see in my picture that I took of the bed, I need to add some accessories. I want to add a bed skirt to protect the box spring. I also want to make some new quilts that will cover the entire sides of the bed. (That is an ambitious project. hopefully I can do it though, but that is another story for another day)
