Photo Shoot of my daughter

I have purchased a new digital camera recently, and now a new used computer. I am playing around right now and trying to learn how to load some photos on here. These are some pictures I took of my daughter the other day when we were bored. So here are the photos of took of Madison Lynn. Please be nice. I am not a professional photographer. Just a Mommy playing around with her new camera.

It's amazing how one minute they can pour the entire shampoo bottle in the tub, and the next minute look so angelic!

This next photo has a little bit of her ONERY side in it!

She finally got bored of Mom snapping her photo and got distracted with some toys. But I was still busy snapping more photos.

So there is my first try at a photo essay of my little girl, with my new digital camera, and my new computer!!

Marianne-----I have no idea how to go in MACRO mode or even what it is! I hope someone comes back and tells me about that. I have a digital camera. I'm not sure if it does that sort of thing.
But I would love all the advice I can get. I don't know much about photography, but I love to take photos.

This is a great photo essay Monica and you certainly had a beautiful subject too!! I like all the photos but the second one is just adorable!!!

BTW Monica, why don't you email Marianne, - she is great with a camera, she knows her stuff! I know she would not mind giving you some tips/advice about your camera, --I really believe she would love too, -------she is a dynamic person!!!! :o)

Ok Phyllis I will try to e-mail her. I have never done that on here before either. I am just pretty lost when it comes to computers. But I think I am learning as I go.

I was thinking the same thing about the macro mode...there's a button that changes the setting...and will show a little tulip outline...when you are in macro mode, you press down the shutter part way and hold...the camera focuses, then push all the way down to take the picture. Do you have your booklet still? I know, I hate to read the book, too!

Great job and she's adorable. I finally posted some shots of my now 13 month old for my gather friends. Took me awhile to get it all together. A ten star for your photos!!!
