Voice of our conscience
Poet of the people
I honor you today

Dreamer of Dreams
Liver of Life
I honor you today

Leader of a Movement
Rock of Ages
I honor you today

Cut down too soon
Rising with strength
I honor you today

As this is the anniversary of Martin Luther King's assassination in 1968 and Maya Angelou's 80^th birthday, this is a tribute poem to both of them. Another good article to read is Fulfilling the Dream by Kimberly Ripley.
