LOL! I love it. I know this plant all too well, I'm afraid. The best revenge is eating it. Cooking it "de-stings" it and they are supposed to be good eating like greens. Good for lots of what ails you too.
Every summer I go to my swimming hole and think, now what do those dang nettles look like again? well I don't remember till they GET me. HaHa! Maybe I'll print your wonderful pictures to take with me so I'll remember.

Stinging nettles suck! I remember skipping a stupid pep rally on year at school and hiding out in the woods by the school, little did I know about stinging nettles and got all in them before I realized what I had done. I think I should have just gone to the pep rally.
Never hurt me too much. Some weird genetic thing. Every other skin thing made me nutso, but not those. So I learned to ameliorate the damage to others on hiking trips.
Enjoyed this photo essay and haiku. Nettles are supposed to be good eating, but I don't think I've ever eaten any! Guess you'd have to have some elbow-length gloves to gather them.
