A Cat's Life

Hi!  My name is Twinkle Toes, but you can call me Twinkie.  I just wanted to tell you a little about my life.  I love my servants, Mommy and Daddy.  They treat me pretty well, but I have to remind them who's boss every once in a while.  My mom doesn't like to give me treats or canned cat food enough.  She likes to just give me regular old dry food, but I bother her until she gives in and gives me the real stuff.  I also have to tell her what's what when she goes into a room by herself.  I don't like that at all.  I need to see what she's doing and be with her every second of the day.  So I sit at the door and meow and claw until she opens it and let's me in.  Most of the time it works really well.  One of my favorite things to do is tear through the house.  I love running up and down the halls as fast as I can.  I also like trying to trip up Mommy and Daddy.  I think it's fun to see them stumble.  Sometimes, they'll play with me with my toy whale.  They throw it up in the air, and I catch it.  I do it more to amuse them than because it's fun.  I tire with that pretty easily.  My mommy and daddy try and tell me what to do, but I don't listen to them.  Like I said, I have to remind them who's boss.  They tell me not to get up on the piano, but I know they don't really mean it.  So I try and get up there whenever I can.  They also don't like me in the sink, but I know just when to get up there!  All in all, I've got a pretty good life.  My mommy and daddy give me lots of petting and care.  I know that they love me.  I've just got to train them as better servants.
