Yesterday when I showed my son the picture I'd posted on gather of Tigger he was almost in tears because you all think that Tigger is MY cat.
So I told him I'd tell you that the truth was that I promised Z that he could have his very own pet that was his and belonged to him and Tigger is that pet.
I apologize for any misconceptions on my part.
I did try to say that Tigger was both of ours and Z got tearier(it was the end of a long day) and I brought up the fact that WHOEVER CLEANS THE KITTY LITTER OWNS THE CAT but that just elicited more cries instead of the offer to clean the kitty litter I was hoping he would immediately give to prove that the cat was his.
Nope, it didn't happen.
So this is to let you know that the person who cleans the kitty litter and feeds the cat, cleans up the cat throw up off the carpet and other misc. cat minding chores and also rescues the cat from the normal tormenting that boys do to cats is not the official owner of said cat.
(Tigger plotting how to get away from Z and jump in my lap instead!)
Of course, I hope you all can see through this and realize the TRUTH about said ownership.

That was how I ended up doing the kitty litter for years....she was my cat, so I was responsible for cleaning it all. No matter how nasty those hairballs got. :S
Ashe, the youngest of the pets, is SUPPOSED to be J's cat. However, J is still learning how to appease his feline owner. All the pets literally follow me from room to room, and Ashe also enjoys the occasional nap in K's lap. I regularly tell K that Ashe is his cat (usually when the cat is being bad)...
HIS cat is great!! :)
I'm glad we know who the stated & unstated owner of said cat is!
Tigger owns you. Both of you.
Prepare for more tears.
You can say one this for sure: you BOTH love Tigger and that's the most WONDERFUL thing in the world! Thanks for sharing this, Faith!!!
Thank you for posting this to "Our Fur Babies"
