I love La La Land, but I feel dry of ideas. I may fold the group. I hate to do so, but I also don't like to have a group open without ideas. I've tried chats, theaters, and games. I have no response. I emailed you and wrote this article to see if you want to keep the island of La La afloat. Let me know.

I do like the idea of kidnapping King Peter. I may try that. He's been a wicked King.
Lately, it seems that all I find time for (and barely that) is reciprocating / responding to the people who have commented about my articles and photos.
I see no reason not to continue to have a nice place where we can come and retreat and have chats, even if it's only occasionally. You created a nice thing when you started this group. In my humble opinion, La La Land is still a wonderful state of mind and a lovely place to be.
I've owned a business for 16 years and it's a constant challenge to keep coming up with new directions, generating new ideas and maintaining enthusiasm amongst your old customers. Being a group owner is not unlike that, except that thankfully, in the LaLa Land of Gather, you don't lose your shirt and go bankrupt if things don't go well.
Lala Land is not sinking. Everything else is. Lala Land is the Beacon that -- if ever gone -- would leave Gather in utter darkness.

I don't read all articles, I'm sorry. It will do better if you can find a new twist. I think I got in late on this idea and story line. I'm sorry to not be of much help. But there must be mouth-to-mouth resusitation for La La Land, too. I do hope some of our members can come up with an idea.

Since I don't know what has went on before I don't know what to suggest, but I am begging on bended knee, don't close La La Land!
It is a fun idea and with some effort on all our parts, I am sure it can be resurrected and resusitated and likewise brought back to former life.

The only physical locations I have for him are some place he called Riker's Island, but I don't have the street name. Then, he says he has lived in Folsom. I know about Folsom, California. It is north of Sacramento, and there is also a prison there. But, I do not know the street address or name for his home there either. It doesn't matter, really. He says they were only temporary residences.

I hope that you don't shut it down as it would be a shame to not have a fun place to pass a little time from one day to another.
I also like the name of the group "La La Land" as I have lived there for far too many years IRL not to have it around. I do like posting stuff there because of this reason and the connotation it has for me, at least.

Oh, and about negativity on Gather? Really?? Have I missed something? Shucks thats what happens when one is out of the loop for a couple of days. lol!
