It's finally April! Goodbye cold weather, there will be no more hibernating indoors for me. I am so ready to kick spring into full gear! I'm all smiles just thinking about all the fun events on my calendar this month already—including a baseball game, my neighborhood block party and starting my garden. Can't wait!

I'm really looking forward to the 2' of snow we have left in our yard melting away so I can see some flowers and green grass instead!

We have had beautiful weather down here lately and it has been great getting out and walking and being outside. It will harder when the summer months come go. It was brutal last year!

For me, this means I can get outside with my camera again and start taking photographs of all that is beautiful and interesting! In Texas, spring is so abbreviated, so we try to enjoy it all as much as possible, because it very quickly turns into the dog days of summer here! (100+ degrees - yuck!)

I may have jumped the gun thinking that April was going to bring warmer weather. The month is nearly over and it is still quite cold! Oh well, there's always May!
