I don't listen to the audio versions of books. However, I read this book and it was pretty good, but I dont think it lived up to what it could have been. He definitely wrote better books and this one seemed to be lacking a lot of the action. I'm hoping his next one gets better, as he is one of my favorite authors. I have everyone of his books but his latest ones have been a bit of a disappointment.

The funny thing about audiobooks is that often the narrator brings to life a book. So an otherwise "OK" book can be an outstanding audiobook! The otherway around can happen too. Thanks for the comment, Simply Ashley!

I just bought this book and I have it on my list to read really soon. I enjoy reading anything by John Grisham.

I've started downloading audiobooks onto my iPod. I feel as if I'm getting away with something if I'm doing the laundry and getting caught up in a really good story at the same time.

I love audio books ... but really prefer to read it ... just something about the way they put emphasis on a word (s) that is sometimes different from my own innner self.

I like John Grisham's books. My sister listens to audio books while she commutes and while she walks. Audio books are also a Godsend to people with low vision.

I don't listen to audiobooks, and this was only one of 2 Grisham books that I could not even read, teh first 1/4 of the book was very well written, and once you got to that pivotal point in the book where the financial statement is disclosed, I KNEW how the book was going to end I put the book down and didn't read it any further.
I was very disappointed as this was only the 2nd book that was by Grisham that I could NOT read, and I normally love his writing.
