The day before Easter (Saturday March 22nd) there were two Easter Egg Hunts that I took the kids to. One was at a park that we're gone to for the last four years and the other was at the Kern County Museum. The one at the Kern County Museum was advertised as being the largest in Bakersfield and was supposed to be super great (it wasn't in my opinion).
We got to the one at the Museum right before it started at 11:30. The organization sucked. First we went to an entrance that after we parked and walked a mile and then were told that no, we have to go to the other entrance (several people, like me, tried to go to the other entrance). I really think they should have had a sign saying that. So after that, we had to find parking towards the other entrance, which took forever and a day. I really thought we were going to miss the egg hunt. By the time we got there, the kids were tired and I was slightly annoyed. =O
This is a picture of only some of the people waiting for the Egg Hunt.
I had to squish the kids behind some other kids so they'd be able to hunt for Eggs.
The kids got three eggs each which I think is pretty good considering how many people were there.

They had a petting zoo after the Egg Hunt. There was a long line of people so we didn't get to go inside the area but the kids still got to pet and see some of the animals.
The kids didn't get to touch the calf but I got a couple of shots. It's not often I get to take pictures of things other then my kids.

Even though we were at the Kern County Museum just two days previous, the three of us walked and looked at some of the stuff that we missed when we had went (the day my youngest son cried for almost two hours straight no matter what we did).
They didn't look to happy here.
