I actually watched the second episode last night (I have on-demand). If you don't try to make it match reality it is a very fun show!

Alas, I don't have Showtime. And I doubt that the historical Henry VIII was that hot. Psycho like that, yes. But not hot.

my roomate and i waited anxiously for it. we are both hugely interested in this time period.

johnathan rhys meyers got hotter since last season. i didn't think that was possible, but wow.

I saw the show and thought it was wonderful...in fact, I thought it was even better than season I, even more passionate....the two leads, Henry VIII and Anne Boleyn were as beautiful as ever and both great actors...this is the best show on TV next to Dexter...I wish people wouldnt comment on articles seeking feedback on TV shows who did not even see the show...why even comment

I eagerly await the DVDs. I loved Season 1. I love the story of Henry & his 6 wives. My favorite Henry will always be Charles Laughton from way back when, but Rhys Meyers was SO good in 'Gormenghast' (2002) I'm willing to suspend my disbelief to allow for a young, slim, gorgeous guy taking this part. As for Peter O'Toole, I'll always adore this actor. He can play any role he pleases.
