Do you feel tired when the seasons change? I always felt a bit tired when the seasons changed, even as a child. I notice the people around me feel the same way. Now that I have Epstein Barr, sleep apnea and cfs, I am even more exhausted after daylight savings time.
After being out of sorts for a couple of weeks because I was just plain overtired, I found a few ways to rejuvenate my energy:
- get more sleep and as simple as this may sound, we infrequently commit overselves to actually doing it and I always feel better when I catch more zzz's;
- exercise everyday, even if you walk around the block or do a ten minute DVD workout;
- eat a well-balanced diet and finally get rid of that holiday chocolate from December to March so there are no temptations because you always feel better when you eat better; and
- find a way to get rid of stress - I did a laughter yoga class recently that was absolutely amazing! Meditation, deep breathing, tai chi and simple stretches all work well to reduce stress so you feel less tired.
