I need diet ideas??? I am 5 foot tall and weigh about 130. I need to lose weight. I alo have type 1 diabetes. I have had diabetes for about 10 years now. Before I had diabetes I weighed under 100 pounds. Well I want to lose 20 pounds before July so I guess that I need to get started.
So here are my questions.
- How have you lost weight? What type of diets have you done?
- Did you use diet pills and did they work? What kind were they?
Thanks for sharing.

Your best bet for losing weight is starting an exercise regiment, watching what you eat, and drinking water. Try to exercise daily- even if it's just a 30 minute walk around the neighborhood. Bike rides are great workouts, too.
Good luck!

I'm trying to lose a few pounds by July so I trying to do a half a mile to a mile everyday and then work my way up. I love walking so its the easiest exercise for me. Plus we are getting rid of the big screen tv in my room and I am gonna put my gazelle back up so I can start using that again.
Some easy things to do, drink water. Eat 5 times a day. Make sure to eat your fruits and vegetables.
I like the Sparkpoeple site because they have awesome info on anything you would need and its all free. I counted calories for awhile and they have a nutrition lookup that has many foods listed. I have most things memorized now and could spout off the amount of calories in almost anything I eat. As said above just do it healthy espescially being diabetic. good luck!!
Also as important is exercise. I'm sure your doctor has told you this, but it's very true. Muscle burns fat.

Although I havent need to lose weigh or desired to (seemed to have lost my baby weight already :D ) I have started doing this diet and it is absolutely fantastic. You shouldnt see it as a diet in the conventional way. You have a diet now, but its obviously not the one you want. Anyway this is a really good healthy eating choice and I have tonnes of energy and feel fantastic.
You just have to figure out what works for you. No matter how long it takes, because you will hit a plateau, keep with it. It will be discouraging but don't give up!
Be careful with anything termed "diet"..yeah you want to lose the weight but you also want keep it off, so to do this there is no quick remedy if the goal is keeping it off. It's more of changing your eating habits
