The day before Easter (Saturday March 22nd) there were two Easter Egg Hunts that I took the kids to. One was at a park that we're gone to for the last four years and the other was at the Kern County Museum. The one at the Kern County Museum was advertised as being the largest in Bakersfield and was supposed to be super great (it wasn't in my opinion). We went to the one at the park at 10:00 AM. We got there a little early so the kids could play on the playground.

Yes...there actually was an Easter Egg Hunt :)
The Easter Egg Hunt was in several age groups. My oldest son sons were each in a different age group. Their age groups were right next to each other so it worked out just fine.

Isn't it time yet?

I'm ready! :)
Gazing longingly at the eggs
There were tons of people waiting for the hunt. I thought the woman and little girl in the bunny ears and pink stripes were cute.

My oldest son is in the yellow shirt at the top of the picture looking for eggs.
My middle son is at the edge of the picture with the blue bucket. Didn't get all of him! But I liked how I captured that other kid in mid grab.

Not an egg left in sight.

After this hunt, we went to Great Clips and then rushed to Easter Egg #2. That of course, is another photo essay.
