Written just as well as the original... all of the passion the betrayal and sheer evil pour out of this second novel as well...
This story begins where Mina's story seemingly ends in the original "Dracula"... Recently wed to Jonathan Harker and away from Dracula himself she realizes that Dracula did not truly die... That his blood coursing through her veins has left an opening for him to return to this world... She is taunted with dreams of him as her lover, master and of his brides... Her sisters... Her love for Jonathan never fades but it ultimately tested... And she finds a journal written by one of Dracula's brides... In that journal it holds the answers to question's eating away at Mina throughout the entire novel... But in the end she finds a way to even Best the Devil....
I loved this novel just as much as the original... I always thought Mina's part in the story just died suddenly... With this novel her story goes beyond Dracula's death and into Mina's life... I am definately keeping this novel on hand for a future re-read... 5 out of 5 stars
