Well, you guys are doing it... so I figure I should do my spring photo essay too ...

Look - a puddle!

Oh, and look! Grass!

More grass and a puddle both!

A sunny spring day...

Is the tree starting a growth spurt?

Well. Maybe this one?

Frolicking puppies love spring.

Yeah. That's enough of that.

Oh! A bird! Well - there was a bird! A pileated woodpecker apparently made those holes. Can't prove it by me - only Ross gets to actually see him.

Doesn't the lake look beautiful in the spring?

Happy spring, everyone...don't you feel lucky now?

LOL Flit...it was sunny and in the mid to high 70's here today...the van registered 84 at one point.

I just amused me - so many people going on about rain/it ONLY being whatever temp, etc...

it was +2C here today ... got up to +4 this aft, I think

And our gas is over $5/gal... so I always laugh when I see people comment about the HIGH price of gas you guys (don't) pay

Sorry Flit...I had to...I'm more of a snow person myself...it's soon going to be way too hot for me down here. I hate it when the temps get above 80.

You keep your spring right up there....and I'll continue to enjoy mine! (Although my husband said they received 4-5 inches of snow in NH today....thankfully there are still three weeks left before I make my northward voyage!!)

Wow....the grass looks so vibrant, it's white. I've heard of bluegrass, but whitegrass? Way cooler than bluegrass, definitely. :D

LOL, this is just too funny Flit. That's why I recently moved south! Thanks for the much needed chuckle, I feel better now and my cloudy 60 something degree day doesn't seem so bad now.

Except for the hardy crocuses poking through the cold ground, we haven't had much spring yet either. But think how sweet it will be when it really arrives! PS Love your frolicking puppies.
we no longer have snow, but we have frozen earth. No flowers but the robins have returned.

Brr...there was still snow on the ground. At least it was melting, though. I'm glad the warm weather has come. ^_^ Thanks for sharing your first steps into spring.
