Arroyo Has A Leg-Up on the Competition

Cincinnati Reds pitcher Bronson Arroyo pitched seven scoreless innings and never issued a single walk yesterday in their Spring Season game against the Minnesota Twins at the Ed Bradley Stadium in Sarasota, Florida. All great pitchers have their own unique style that typically follows them throughout their baseball careers. Arroyo's has got to be his signature leg lift as he rockets the ball toward home plate. With his fastball averaging 87-92 mph, there's a force behind his pitches to be reckoned with...and then some. At 6 foot 5 inches tall, the power behind the man is equaled only by his handsome mane of blonde hair....nearly as much his signature as his pitching.

I don't follow baseball much, but I think the Reds are long overdue for a good season. And, just in case anyone cares, I think pete Rose should be in the hall of fame.

Baseball is the one sport that I can actually understand and enjoy. We always try to make at least two or three Diamondback games a season. Now that the kids are older, it's much more relaxing sitting up in the nosebleed section. I was always afraid one of the boys would take a header going down the steep steps, ending up in the field section!
